You receive an all-in gross hourly wage of  € 18,36. This amount consists of your base salary of   €17,00   per hour, supplemented with ADV allowance, holiday allowance, and profit sharing. Depending on your duties, you may also receive additional allowances, such as shift allowance, which can further increase your final hourly wage.

As a shipping department employee, you support all logistics in the plant. You pick and assemble orders and prepare them for shipment. You vacuum pack and freeze products, and you handle them with care. You work with basic machines and keep stock data correct and up to date. You follow hygiene rules and focus on customer needs in every order. You work in a chilled environment, close to the production lines. Goedegebuur is a leading beef wholesaler and a family company in Rotterdam. We help you start with clear instructions and on‑thejob‑ training.  

 

 

Your daily tasks 

You prepare beef products for safe and correct shipment. You will:  

 

  • Pick and assemble customer orders from the storage area 
  • Vacuum pack and label products according to procedures 
  • Place products in freezers and check temperatures 
  • Operate basic shipping and packing machines 
  • Prepare pallets and goods for transport 
  • Update simple inventory information and report differences 

 

Your working schedule 

You work steady daytime shifts from Monday to Friday. This gives you a clear and fixed routine. You can expect: 

 

  • Working hours from 05:30 to 14:30 
  • Workdays: Monday to Friday 
  • Work in a chilled warehouse area below 7°C 
  • Fulltime hours, no night‑ shifts 

 

 

What you need to bring 

You are organised and like active logistics work. You can handle cold and follow rules. You have:  

 

  • Experience in logistics or warehouse work, or motivation to learn 
  • Ability to work accurately with orders and labels 
  • Physical fitness for lifting and working in the cold 
  • Basic understanding of stock and inventory is a plus 
  • Good communication skills in one of the following languages: Polish, English, Dutch, or Romanian 
  • Openness to follow HACCP, BRC and FSC hygiene training
